ALL Pre-Adoption pets must pay their adoption fee in FULL.
Complete/ Updated Medical records are disclosed once the surgery/adoption process is complete.
You must agree to transport your pet(s) to/from Surgery on the date set by HDBnQ Rescue.
ALL unsterilized pets will pay an additional (refundable) deposit of $500.
You MUST bring your pet to the set surgery appointment or you forfeit your deposit and must arrange your own appointment with your own vet and be financially responsible for that appointment. ( Spay/Neuter Agreement Addendum will be signed)
If you require additional support for transportation you must reach out to let us know at least 3 days in advance to coordinate an alternative mode of transport.
We, HDBnQ Rescue reserve the right to take back the pet at any time.

“HYPOALLERGENIC” Breeds

NO TRIALS

Why No Trials? Due to the incredibly high demand for hypoallergenic breeds, we do not offer PRE- Adoption trials. Because these pets often receive dozens of qualified applications within hours, we prioritize applicants who are ready to make a lifetime commitment. This ensures these dogs find their permanent homes quickly without being bounced between multiple environments.

Puppies - Pre Adoption

Kittens - Pre Adoption

Some terms of the Pre Adoption Agreement to review:

I understand that all named cats are the property of HDBnQ Rescue and I relinquish all custody claims and rights to ownership until the adoption is finalized.
Surgery and Surgery Deposit: If the named cat(s) do not complete their surgery on the date HDBnQ Rescue Provides, I understand that the deposit is forfeited. I will be obligated to schedule another surgery date at a vet of my own choosing and will be financially responsible for the new surgery.
Adoption Fee & Deposit: I agree to pay the full adoption donation to take the pet off the available list.
I understand that if the donation and the required $500 deposit are not paid, the cat(s) remains available for adoption by others.
Supplies: I understand that since the intention is to adopt, HDBnQ Rescue will not provide supplies. Environment: I agree to provide a safe, peaceful, indoor-only environment with all windows and screens secured.
Daily Care: I will provide a scooped litter box, fresh water, and appropriate food daily.
Health Monitoring: I will provide regular updates on the cat’s progress and observe closely for any health or behavioral issues.
Medical Care: I agree to transport the cat to a veterinarian when necessary and administer any prescribed medications.
I understand that all medical expenses during this pre-adoption period are the responsibility of the adoptive family.
Records: I will provide HDBnQ Rescue with copies of all medical records/treatments within 3 days of any vet visit.
Surgery: I understand that once the surgery date is set it is already paid for and cannot be rescheduled.
I agree to be readily available to transport to their Spay/Neuter surgery if they are not yet fixed.
Transfer & Returns: If I choose not to adopt, I will provide at least one week’s notice.
The cat(s) may not be sold, given away, or abandoned.
I will return the cat immediately upon request to an authorized representative.
Right of Removal: HDBnQ Rescue reserves the right to visit the home or remove the cat(s) within 3 days of a requested date.

Adult Dogs

Adult Pre-adoption is a bit different from puppies and kittens. Unfortunately adult pets do not have a long list of people wanting to adopt them so we can take our time to figure out if they are going to work out in the home. Of course we hope that things will work out but if they don’t we hope you will be able to continue to foster until a home is found.
